I am currently Professor of Roman History in the Dept of Classics and Ancient History, University of Warwick. I am Co-Editor of Papers of the British School at Rome and represent the BSR on the Advisory Council of the Institute of Classical Studies. My research interests focus on Roman epigraphy and the history of Italy during the early Principate. I have several ongoing book projects, including books on Pompeii and Herculaneum for Bloomsbury and Documents of the Early Principate for the Loeb Classical Library.
