Getting to the BSR

FROM ROMA TERMINI TRAIN STATION

  • Taxi: Take only an official white taxicab from the rank in front of the station (straight ahead from the platforms, through the booking hall and on the left-hand side of the piazza).

  • Metro: Take LINEA B, (blue line) direction REBIBBIA. Get off at POLICLINICO. Exit metro onto Viale Regina Margherita and take either a 3 ("Dir: Valle Giulia") or 19 ("Dir: Piazza Risorgimento") tram. Both stop at the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna, which is next to the BSR.

FROM FIUMICINO AIRPORT

  • Taxi: Take only an official white taxicab from the rank outside the terminal. Travel time to the BSR is about 40-50 minutes and does not qualify for the flat rate as we are located outside the Aurelian wall.

  • Train: Turn right as you exit arrivals and follow the blue signs to STAZIONE FS (train). There is a direct express link from the airport to Termini Train Station, which takes approximately 30 minutes. At Termini take a taxi or metro (as above).

FROM CIAMPINO AIRPORT

  • Taxi: Take only an official white taxicab from the rank outside the terminal. Travel time to the BSR is about 30 minutes and does not qualify for the flat rate as we are located outside the Aurelian wall.

  • Bus / Metro: There are currently several companies running a comparable bus service into the centre of Rome, including Terravision, Sitbusshuttle or Omio. The buses depart Ciampino at regular intervals and arrive in Via Marsala or Via Giolitti, both very near the Termini Station.

OTHERWISE, take the 520 bus which links the airport with the Metropolitana, Linea A: the station is called CINECITTA. Take the metro from CINECITTA to FLAMINIO. Walk 15 minutes or take the 19 tram from the Ministero Marina stop to the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna.
