Lecture & Talk with Alison Brooks

Lecture & Talk with Alison Brooks

at Casa dell’Architettura, Rome
at Casa dell’Architettura, Rome

The lecture series aims to promote architectural design as a story of research, spatial experimentation, and figurative inquiry, through a series of lectures by architects presenting their built and unbuilt work. It offers an inevitably heterogeneous survey of architectural practice, united nonetheless by a common thread: the design project as an occasion for critical reflection on the contemporary city and society. Each event includes, following the lecture, a discussion with emerging designers or researchers from some of the most important academies in Italy and abroad, aimed at critically examining the practice of design.
