Shanul Sharma presents a specially curated programme of arias, art-songs and popular repertoire made famous by tenors such as Enrico Caruso, Mario Lanza and Luciano Pavarotti. The programme takes the audience on a musical journey through the classical, romantic and verismo periods of opera, alongside a selection of classic Neapolitan songs.
A truly international programme, it features music in Italian, German, French, Spanish and Sanskrit. Sharma is honoured to share this music with the audience.

Magazine) and praised for his “dazzling fireworks” (The Age), Indian-born Australian tenor Shanul Sharma has forged an extraordinary career spanning opera, concert, arena and stadium stages worldwide. A former heavy-metal frontman, Shanul became the first Indian-born Australian to perform as a principal artist with Opera Australia and has appeared at the Bolshoi Theatre, Rossini Opera Festival, Sydney Opera House, Norwegian National Opera and Staatsoper Hannover.
A celebrated Bel Canto specialist, his signature roles include M.K. Gandhi in Philip Glass’ Satyagraha, Almaviva, Tamino, Don Ottavio, Lindoro, Werther and Gennaro. His concert work includes collaborations with leading orchestras and conductors across Europe and Australia.
In 2025, Shanul captivated audiences of more than 50 million worldwide with performances of the Indian and Australian national anthems at the SCG and MCG and he is also featured prominently in the French new age musical project’s new album, ERA VIII.
