CITY OF ROME Public Lecture Programme 2024 is out now!

The British School at Rome is excited to present the City of Rome public lecture programme 2024.

City of Rome is an intensive eight-week residential course coordinated by Dr Christopher Stephen Siwicki for postgraduates at selected British partner universities which unlocks Rome for students at Masters or early Doctoral level studying classical archaeology, art history, ancient history and the transformation of antiquity in the Middle Ages and the modern period.

The lectures are free and open to all, and include contributions from Janet Delaine (Wolfson College, Oxford), Robert Coates-Stephens (BSR), Simone Quilici (Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica), Filippo Coarelli (Perugia), Carlos Machado (St Andrews), Barbara Borg (Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa), and Robert Adam (Strathclyde).
