The British School at Rome is pleased to host ASTERISKS, an evening of performances by Jahān Khājavi, Eloise Fornieles, and Nathalie Di Sciascio.

The asterisk symbol stands in for the rude, the censored, the unknown and the footnotes of history, and this performance event shines a light on the subjects behind this little star-like figure. These funny, tender and irreverent performances break and reshape normative narratives, using spoken words, bold gestures and queer philosophies to entertain, disgust and charm the audience through an alternative festive experience.

The event is part of the Public Programme of ANZI PARLA, solo exhibition by Eloise Fornieles.
