Alessandra Giovenco

Alessandra holds a MA in Medieval History and undertook her PdG in Archival Science, Palaeography and Diplomatics at the Archivio Segreto Vaticano. She joined the BSR in 1997 and has managed the Archive since 2002, becoming full-time in 2014. Over the past decade, she has been working on the management, conservation and presentation of the archival collections, and acquired expertise in the online presentation of digital collections with a particular focus on their long-term preservation and curation. She works on Archive research projects in liaison with colleagues and external consultants. Since 2019, Alessandra has collaborated with Peppe Pellegrino on all aspects of digital records management.
