The British School at Rome is delighted to present Summer Open Studios 2024, an evening dedicated to studio visits of artists in residence at the BSR: Pierre-Olivier Demeule – Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec, Harry de Vries – National Art School (Sydney) Resident, Anne McCloy – Ampersand Foundation Fellow, Ellis Moseley – Helpman Academy Resident, Tura Oliveira – Abbey Scholar in Painting, Joe Whyte – William Fletcher Foundation Resident, Rafal Zajko – Abbey Fellow in Painting.

Opening: 12 June 2024, 18 – 20.30
13 & 14 June 2024, 16 – 19

The event represents a different way of experiencing research in progress, that aims to give the audience a broader insight into the artists’ work, to discover their residency projects, their creative practices and, most importantly, to understand how a new environment, meetings and network with the local artistic community, can give rise to new experimentations.
