The BSR is delighted to host the 3rd day of the IV International Conference on Aerial Archaeology, in partnership with the Laboratory of Ancient Topography and Photogrammetry (LABTAF) of the University of Salento and the Laboratory of Ancient Topography and Archaeological Cartography of the National Research Council, Institute of Sciences of Cultural Heritage (CNR-ISPC), the Aerofototeca Nazionale and Sapienza University of Rome.
50 years after the untimely passing of John Bradford (1918-1975), author of the influential and groundbreaking volume ‘Ancient Landscapes (1957)’, the conference celebrates his scientific legacy as one of the pioneers and greatest masters in the use of aerial images for archaeology. In addition to commemorating Bradford, the conference also intends to offer a representative overview of the main research areas and methodologies in Italy and further afield in aerial archaeology.’

The event is in-presence only.
