We are delighted to announce that His Majesty The King has confirmed his acceptance of the Patronage of the British School at Rome. King Charles’s great love of Italy is well known, as well as his understanding and appreciation of the humanities and the creative arts. We very much hope to have the opportunity to welcome him back to Rome in the future to show him the work we have been doing since his last visit and to introduce him to our community of artists, architects and scholars from across the United Kingdom and Commonwealth.
