CITY OF ROME Public Lecture Programme 2026 is out now!

The British School at Rome is excited to present the City of Rome public lecture programme 2026.

City of Rome is an intensive eight-week residential course directed by Dr. Christopher Siwicki, designed for postgraduates from selected British partner universities. The programme is aimed at students at the Master’s or early Doctoral level studying classical archaeology, art history, ancient history, and the transformation of antiquity in the Middle Ages and modern period.

The lectures are free and open to all, and include contributions from Elizabeth Wuste (American University in Rome), Ria Berg (Institutum Romanum Finlandiae; Helsinki), Marta Barbato (Museo Nazionale Romano), James Page (Barcelona; BSR), Alison Cooley (Warwick), Chris Siwicki (British School at Rome), Raphaële Mouren (British School at Rome), Clare Hornsby (British School at Rome), Abigail Brundin (British School at Rome), Annunziata Berrino (University of Naples Federico II).
