Creative Wales-BSR Fellowship

The Creative Wales–BSR Fellowship offers a unique three-month residency for a studio-based artist living and working in Wales. The BSR is proud to partner with Arts Council Wales to offer this opportunity, supporting exceptional artists at a pivotal point in their career, typically early- to mid-career.

Open to practitioners working in any medium—including digital media, film, performance, and fine art—the fellowship provides time, space, and inspiration to explore new ideas within the dynamic artistic and research community of the BSR.

This residency encourages ambitious, imaginative practices and cross-cultural exchange. Fellows are invited to immerse themselves in Rome’s rich context, and to return with insights that will contribute to the visual arts in Wales.

Eligibility: Open to artists resident and actively working in Wales.
