Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec Residency

This distinguished three-month residency offers architects and visual artists based in Quebec a rare opportunity to deepen their engagement with architectural research while living and working at the BSR in the heart of Rome.

Open to professionals in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and environmental design—as well as visual artists whose practice thoughtfully intersects with the built environment—the residency fosters bold, interdisciplinary exploration.

Residents are given the time, space, and support to pursue innovative ideas, create new work, and engage in meaningful dialogue with fellow practitioners. Whether you’re envisioning sustainable cities, reimagining public spaces, or responding to architecture through visual media, this program champions research-driven practices that challenge conventions and expand perspectives.

Eligibility: Open to Québec residents.

Application Deadline: June
