Nicholas Boas Travel Scholarship

The Nicholas Boas Travel Scholarships offer an exciting one-month residency at the BSR each July exclusively for students at the Architectural Association School of Architecture and the Department of Architecture at the University of Cambridge. Established by the Boas family in loving memory of their son Nicholas, a talented AA student from 1995 to 1998, these scholarships support innovative architectural exploration beyond the classroom.

Recipients gain the freedom to pursue independent research, creative projects, or travel that expands their architectural perspective and professional growth. This unique opportunity encourages you to engage deeply with new environments, ideas, and cultural contexts—fuelling fresh design thinking and broadening your academic journey.

If you’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of architecture and ready to embrace a transformative experience, the Nicholas Boas Travel Scholarships could be your next step.

For application details, visit AASchool or University of Cambridge Department of Architecture.
