Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec Residency

This prestigious three-month residency offers a unique opportunity for architects and visual artists based in Quebec to deepen their engagement with architectural research. Open to professionals working in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and environmental design, the residency also welcomes visual artists whose creative practice intersects meaningfully with architectural inquiry.

Residents will have the time and space to explore innovative ideas, develop new work, and immerse themselves in a stimulating environment that encourages critical dialogue and cross-disciplinary exchange. Whether you’re investigating sustainable urban futures, reimagining public spaces, or reflecting on the built environment through visual media, this residency supports thoughtful, research-driven practices that push boundaries and provoke new thinking.

Applicants must be residents of Quebec. The application deadline is typically in June each year. For full eligibility criteria and application details, please click here
