We welcome two new members to the BSR Council, Professor Eddie Chambers and Mr Rohan Surana

Professor Edward Chambers

Eddie Chambers was born in Wolverhampton, England and lives between Austin, Texas and Edinburgh, Scotland. He gained his PhD from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 1998. He has curated a considerable number of exhibitions, having worked with artists such as Permindar Kaur, Pat Ward Williams, Mildred Howard and Lesley Sanderson. After periods as a Visiting Professor at Emory University, Atlanta, he joined the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Texas at Austin in January 2010 where he is now holder of the David Bruton, Jr. Centennial Professorship in Art History. His focus is African Diaspora art.

Mr. Rohan Surana

Rohan studied Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD, the International Business School in France. In his professional life, Rohan has worked internationally in strategic and operational roles across Management Consulting (Deloitte), Banking (HSBC) and Financial technology (Revolut). Rohan now works for the University of Bath as Director of Operations for the School of Management. In his spare time, he enjoys cricket, running and tennis.
