đź“… Open Studios
Wednesday 11 June | 16.00 – 19.00
An earlier chance to visit the studios in a quieter setting

đź“… Private View
Thursday 12 June | 18.00 – 22.00
With a special evening reception

The Summer Open Studios 2025 will be an opportunity to highlight some aspects of the research that underpins the artists’ work, including art patronage and the representation of power; the 7 pillars of Rome, i.e. the fundamental pillars of our ideology and their collapse; the study of famines in Italy in the modern era and their relationship with folklore and fantasy; the mutual influence of British and Italian perspectives on immigration; Rome in Super 8.

The event represents a different way of experiencing research in progress, that aims to give the audience a broader insight into the artists’ work, to discover their residency projects, their creative practices and, most importantly, to understand how a new environment, meetings and network with the local artistic community, can give rise to new experimentations.

The event will be held in-person. No registration is required to attend.
