Rome Scholarship in Architecture: Six Month Fund

Rome Scholarship in Architecture: Six Month Fund

The Rome Scholarship in Architecture is currently funded through donations from practices involved in the new “Reading Rome” summer school. Starting this year, two spots in the summer school will be reserved for Black and Asian-led practices, funded by the 1851 Commission.

This arrangement currently allows for a three-month annual scholarship, but in the long term the Faculty of Architecture would like to extend the scholarship to six months.

To support this goal, the Six Month Fund has been created to collect additional donations, which can be used intermittently to extend the scholarship’s duration. An initial donation has been received which will provide matching funding for any new donations received, so further contributions of any size, and at any interval, would be encouraged and appreciated.
