New publication by our British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow Alessandra Tafaro

New publication by Alessandra Tafaro!
Our British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow is thrilled to announce the release of her first monograph: “Inscribing Flavian Rome: Epigraphic Strategies in Martial’s Epigrams”.

Published with Oxford University Press, the book is now available online via Oxford Academic (from 19 September 2025) and will be in print from 16 October. You can read a free chapter — Amphitheatrical Poetics: Power and Monuments in Martial’s Liber spectaculorum — available until 27 October here.
