Michael Stiff is a practising architect based in London and spends his time between London and Florence. He founded Stiff+Trevillion Architects in the early 1980’s. Today it is a thriving, respected and established practice that works primarily in central London on a range of building types with a portfolio of notable buildings. During his career he has taught at Sheffield, Westminster and London Metropolitan universities, whilst he no longer teaches, he frequently gives talks to architecture students, and mentors aspiring architects from disadvantaged backgrounds.
He is a member of the Westminster Design Review Panel, a Trustee of the Royal Fine Art Commission Trust, judge and panellist at the World Architecture Festival and Chair of The Architecture Club.
