The British School at Rome (BSR) invites expressions of interest from postdoctoral scholars who wish to apply for the British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowships with the BSR as the host institution.

The deadline for the submission of expressions of interest to the School is Thursday 2 July 2026.

Potential candidates are asked to check the eligibility requirements of the scheme. Those interested should send a CV, a list of publications and an outline of the proposed research (no more than 2 pages) to research@bsrome.it. Where appropriate, potential candidates are welcome to send a separate statement of any circumstances that may have impacted their research.

Candidates selected for support by the School will be contacted directly by the Research committee and support will be offered with developing the proposal.
