Sainsbury Scholarship (three months)
The British School at Rome (BSR), in partnership with the Linbury Trust, is pleased to offer the Sainsbury Scholarship — a transformative three-month residency in Rome, running from 25 September to 19 December 2025. This opportunity is open to an exceptional early-career artist working in any medium.
This scholarship is specifically designed to support artists from Black, Asian, and minoritized ethnic backgrounds, who remain underrepresented in the arts and at the BSR.
Eligibility: Open to UK or Commonwealth nationals or residents. Reserved for artists from a Black, Asian, or Minoritized Ethnic Background
