As part of our newly launched virtual exhibition platform, the BSR is delighted to present a new Virtual Exhibition of the Architectural Drawings of the Rome Prize (1913 – 1933).

The exhibition is part of the Architectural Drawings of the Rome Prize Conservation and Research Project, which aims to study and make accessible the British School at Rome’s collection of approximately 100 drawings of ancient and early-modern Italian buildings by Rome Prize Award holders between 1913 and 1933.

On display are a selection of six recently conserved and digitised drawings by the architects R.A. Cordingley (1896-1962) and F.O. Lawrence (1893-1971), with accompanying text by Christopher Siwicki and Stephen Kay. More drawings will be added as the project progresses.
