Alessandra Giovenco is our Archivist, responsible for the historical archives and records management. She holds a MA in Medieval History and undertook her PdG in Archival Science, Palaeography and Diplomatics at the Archivio Segreto Vaticano. She joined the BSR in 1997 and has managed the Archive since 2002. Over the past decade, she has been working on the management, conservation and description of the archival collections, and acquired expertise in on-site engagement with the collections and the online presentation of digital collections with a particular focus on their long-term preservation and curation. She works on Archive research projects in liaison with colleagues and external consultants.
