Pelé Cox to perform ‘Vincent and The Poets’ at The Courtauld

Pelé Cox (John Murray / Keats-Shelley Memorial Association Creative Writing Resident for 2017–18) will be performing ‘Vincent and The Poets’ as part of the latest After Hours event at The Courtauld, Painting Oneself.

Celebrating the first ever exhibition devoted to Vincent van Gogh’s self-portraits across his entire career, this ‘After Hours’ will be made up of lightning talks, object study sessions, curator tours, activities, food and drink. Pelé’s performance, held in front of the artworks, will be a unique way of revisiting the artist, his artworks and the poets who inspired him.

Performance time: 7.15 – 8.00. Vincent and The Poets, Written by Pele Cox and Performed by Christian Roe, Richard Goulding, Fabio Barry, Suzi Feay and Michael Sandle.


Don’t miss our virtual live screening of Pelé’s film, Lift Me Up I Am Dying on Wednesday 23 February at 21.00 CET. The film recounts the final hours of John Keats and will be streamed live on our YouTube channel on the anniversary of his death.
